With Photography Slowly Becoming An Exclusively Digital Medium Do We Risk Losing A Great Tool With Film? | All About Money Online

I’m just curious. I was on the verge of buying a Polaroid instant camera the other day but didn’t due to the financial burden of having to source and buy film which will be discontinued from 2009. Sure, I could recreate the instant Polaroid look in Photoshop but I’m not sure I want my results that predictable and I certainly don’t want to spend more time in front of a pc getting an RSI than actually taking photos. Will the death of film (sadly inevitable in my view) be a black day for photography?

Just so you know where I stand. I own about 13 film cameras vs. 2 digital cameras.
