Reason For Shifting To Digital Photography? | All About Money Online

Inspite of the better dynamic range, cheaper and long lasting prints, cheaper cameras with good primes, I have recently shifted to digital photography. My reason for shifting to digital was the lack of good quality developing and printing in the area where I stay. Recently, a new roll which I gave for developing and printing, came out with yellow cast on all photographs. In another dark photograph (with lots of area as black), the colour-lab printed it as if it was underexposed and all my dark areas came out grey (18%?) and the main point of interest was washed out.

After talking to a few people around, I found out that most of them had shifted to digital for the same reason. What is your reason for shifting to digital photography?
