Photography: What Should I Do With My Opaque Negatives? | All About Money Online

I am doing a Photography project for (you guessed it) Photography class. I had to take pictures of the ever-so-scenic downtown Toronto. However, after some messy timing problems during developing, my negatives came out opaque; the outsides are very dark but the inside is much whiter. Essentially, you can clearly see how the image looks via the negatives (on one side). SEE HERE —… I tried shining a light through them but came up short — not enough light can go through. Now, I’ve scanned them in and *could* do some digital altering but I’d rather stick to the good ol’ tradition method. So I’m what I am asking is, is there anything I can do without giving in to digital?
