im just basically looking for an excellent digital camera that takes ‘quality’ pictures and can zoom far without it being too blury and has a lot of cool options. i am really into photography but i do not want one of those big bulky cameras. so im open for suggestions. thanks

If you’re into photography an SLR would be the one to get.
I have an Olympus, which is good. But you don’t like ‘bulky’ so I’d say a Nikon. Canon are extremely good with film but not as good with digital.

but if you want good zoom I would suggest another brand and model for your choice.These are not bulky,take great picture,great zoom

IMHO Canon is highly rated but I think over rated. I’ve had 2 canons and they are horrible with batteries.
I bought a Kodak Easyshare camera and it’s the best digital camera I’ve ever owned. The battery life is awesome and the photos are crisp and clear.

I`ve always used a FujiFinepix….and it does it for me. I`ve always been very satisfied and have no wish to change.
It`s been trouble-free for over 5 years.
