How Do You Keep Songs On Your Ipod And Transfer Them When You Change Computers?
I got a new computer, and need to know how I keep my songs on my iPod and get them onto the new computer. Without having to buy all of them again…or download from limewire again. lol

It’s been a while since I’ve done this so hopefully this will work and make sense…
On your new computer, plug in your ipod and close itunes if it opens. Go to ‘My Computer’ and open your ipod from there. I think if you right click you can make it to where you can see hidden files. You should then see several folders with strange file names. Those folders contain all of your songs. Open each folder and copy the contents to a folder on your computer. Then in iTunes you can import all the songs from that folder at once using the menu in iTunes.
Hope that works….if not it’s close!
Sorry, I tired to do that and it didn’t work at all. My idea is to go on your old computer (if you have it) and download all your songs onto CDs and then put them on your new ITUNES for free. If that doesn’t work, your kinda out of luck.
