Besides the questions you just asked, I learned that by holding them, seeing how they feel in your hands, and the sales person walks you through the ease of doing things, can be very important.
Im not educated well on cameras, and when mine broke, bought one like mine but smaller, and that was a big mistake, first thing I did was knock into the lense as it was moving outward, and break the mid range of the camera I can only take the default and then full zoom by bumping it out of alignment. So Id suggest holding, and see if theres any diference in comfort and operates to get even more information. Lucky you, Scottland is so lovely, by the photos I have seen of it!!

Omg! thats weird, i was thinking of what to buy, either one or the other. Well i got the sony and i really like it! It’s all clear and stuff when i get pics, but in digital photography world, Nikon so i would say Nikon
