computer #1 laptop has a virus and I have no recovery disc.
computer #2 desktop has virus protection and recovery disc. Should I share virus protection from computer #2 to computer #1 and will it give computer #2 a virus?

  1. It depends on the type of virus you have as to whether or not it will spread to #2. Mostly viruses called “worms” will spread and trojans will not. It most likely, however, you don’t know which type you have. If you are able to connect to the internet go to http://www.malwarebytes.org and download the free version of malwarebytes version 1.41. If you are unable to connect to the internet using #1 then use #2 to download the set-up file for malwarebytes to a disc or flash drive. When you click on “download” it will ask you if you want to save the file or run it. If you are using #1 then you want to run it. If you are using #2 and downloading to a disc or flash then you will want to save it. Take the disc or drive to #1 and open the file then click run. After installation is complete run a “full scan” good luck!
