I have songs I like on my laptop that I wish to put on my iPod, but I upload from a desktop computer. Is there any way I could upload the songs from my laptop to my iPod aswell without putting it on disk and transferring the songs to my desktop?

The simplest way is the put it onto a disk.
Otherwise you can accidently delete your songs ( dont before )
