no, NOT a digital slideshow. I took a photography class awhile ago and all of my best work is in slide form (slide photographs, need a projector to seem them) I want to get my slides onto my computer, I am pretty sure there is a scanner out there somewhere that will do this for me, but I need to know where, how much and what quality. I would sincerely appreciate and useful and informative input on this subject. thankyou.

Those scanners aren’t hard to locate. There is an adapter on certain models where the slide goes in. A good one runs about $150, and it’s real good quality.

My CV was all high quality slides and everyone now wants a CD or j peg. I simply set up a projector and used a digital camera on a tripod just above to photograph each image. I used the timer to avoid any movement. The results were great. It was my 12 year old sons idea.
