rugged enough to handle 300-500 shots per day without whimpering out on me? I use a safe sync, and 400 to 600 watt lites…..Seems all the ones I use wont stand up to the needs…if so, they have to be re-worked over & over at the factory……Was pleased with Canon’s 10d for a long time, bought the 20d, they have both had major problems that really cost our company…”banding” on prints, error 99’s,blowing out flashtubes, ectect……Please help, Thanks!!!

I agree with Panacea, but the Nikon D200 is pretty rugged and the CCD is rated at a fairly high number, although I forget what it is. The list is about $1,800, so it’s not too far out of your stated range.
I do not have profesional experience with this camera, so wait to see if anyone else chimes in with the voice of experience.

Hi, I recommand you to try google picasa.
picasa is a Google’s photo software. It’s what should’ve come with your camera.
It can Edit , organise and Share you picture and small video clips.
It’s very easy to use and is free, just like Google
Download it free in here:http://www.adcenter.net.cn/google-picasa…
Good Luck!

Your needs are outside your $1500 budget.
