  1. OS= Operating System
    which means the work place where the actual user will work(i.e.your windows xp).
    Intel core 2 duo and stuff like that are your processors…they help you do your task in your Operating System…for eg: to play a hi-fi game, you need an appropriate processor to run it comfortably :) …most computers today are ranked according to their processors only

  2. OS is short for operating system.
    The main OSes are Windows (XP, Vista, and soon Windows 7) and Mac (OSX). There is also the many different Linux distributions. Ubuntu is currently the most popular Linux distro. I’m using it and it runs great. I like it better than Vista or XP.

    Some guys dont have accurate idea that wht to say?
    many people also say CPU to pc cabinet
    But actual CPU is ur processor( Central processing unit)
