Trying To Connect Two Computers Using Cable With Ethernet Cords And Hub, But Dont Know How?
I have one computer that is hooked up to a cable modem. The problem is i have another computer in the other room that i want connected to the internet. I have two ethernet cords and a hub. Also the computer that is hooked up to the cable modem is connected through the coaxcable and usb port, so the Ethernet port is open. So how do i connect the two and what do i need to do?

okay the computer that is connected to the cable modem.
Disconnect the bit that is going to your computer, and plug it into your hub. Make sure that you have it going to the main line that will get the other two connected. Above one of the points on your hub it will say something to the point of main link or uplink point. This is where this point must go for the two computers to connect.
