  1. Photobucket is a great web based and FREE editing tools. The software behind it comes from Adobe who make some of the best commercial ($$$) photo and video editors. Also check out Jaycut which allows you to export and save your videos! If you need/want more features downloading VideoSpin, VideoPad or VideoThang are great options. Still free, but you have to download the software. For under $100 you can buy Adobe Premiere Elements.
There is also new freeware version of Windows Movie Maker that works on Windows Vista, XP and even Windows 7. Microsoft has added and deleted features from each version and this version has all the features from each version plus some extras.http://www.edit-photos.net/videohttp://www.squidoo.com/youtube-video-edi…

  2. This website had free download of video clips http://www.sofotex.com/download/Multimed…

There are three main players in this area – Sony’s Dvgate and MovieShaker software which comes bundled with their VAIO line of multimedia computers, Apple’s iMovie2 (and iDVD) which comes with most new Macintosh systems, and Microsoft’s MovieMaker 2 for Windows XP. (If you have MovieMaker on your Windows XP, it is a free download to upgrade it to MovieMaker 2).
On this site, you can find numerous links to info about both MovieMaker and iMovie.

  3. Completely Free: Video Spin, Jump Cut, WAX, Zwei-stein, and JahShaka (XP)
I can’t speak to any of those, but they are entirely free. I did read in some PC mag that they felt Video Spin was the best of the free options out there.
Pay but affordable: Sony Vegas Movie Studio, Corel Ulead Video Studio, Pinnacle Studio, Adobe Premiere Elements, AVS Video Editor
Sony and AVS are easiest to learn by reputation. Adobe is the most robust of the lot but also the most expensive. Sony and Adobe have very strong online communities (so free online support for you).
All of the pay software has free trials you can download. Then you can test out the software and see if any are worth paying for or not.

  5. VirtualDub… http://www.virtualdub.org/
But, I would just use Windows Movie maker (or imovie) cause it has more transitions (i actually don’t know if virtualdub has any at all)
