I have broadband in my house, and there is 3 different computers hooked upto it, the family computer, my husbonds computer and my sons computer. Im worried about some of the sites my son maybe visiting and was wondering if i could check his web history on the family computer?

You could monitor IP’s that everyone has visited through your router. However, this can be a painful process to find out what sites they are actually visiting.
The easiest way would be to check on the history on your son’s computer. Better yet, talk to him about safe internet activity and what is or isn’t acceptable. If he is a teen, he is likely to give you attitude, but snooping won’t get you any farther.

Yes, quite easy to do (for a tech anyway). The surf history (assuming your using IE) is all collected in a file folder, just like the rest of programs and data on your computer. If your computers are already networked together, you just need to make sure that the folder with the history is set to “shared”. This is something you probably need a tech to come do for you, especially if your systems are not already networked together (sharing the internet doesn’t count).
