What’s The Best Way To Change Careers From Business To Computers While Supporting A Family?

I graduated college with a BBA in management and was able to find a good job in the residential construction industry as a supervisor. I mistakenly thought the market would not get so grim, but it did and I lost my position along with several others in the company. Now I am fighting to support my family and searching for another job which reflects my college degree and professional expierience, but there seems to be nothing out there after several months of searching. I do however see a vast array of positions available in the Computer/IT industry and feel that if I can secure a degree in this feild I will be able to find a career that is much more stable.
