It is always appreciated. I started monetizing my blog right at the time Google dropped the page ranks. I started at 4 am now a 0. I am a bit fed up about it, especially as after I tried PPP for the first time I decided I didn't like it that much. I preferred Blogsvertise and Smorty. I have since removed PPP stuff from the blog and plan to do a sitemap of my blog for Google, something I had not done before and then ask for a reconsideration. I will stick with Smorty as they have stuck with me but Blogsvertise dropped me so I will do likewise. I don't really need to earn the money I just thought it would be fun. The Google page rank is not that important to me either but it does help me judge how popular my blog is. The challenge now is to rebuild the rank and that is a lot of hard work, especially in a niche blog like mine. In answer to your question I guess I am a newbie.
